Privacy

MonthEnd stores the account details you give us and the receipt emails you send to your forwarding address, so we can file them and email your accountant.

What we store

Your name, email, business name, accountant’s email, and send day. For each receipt: sender, subject, the vendor, date, amount, and currency we could read, and the files attached to the message or that you uploaded. We also store a magic-link record until it expires, and subscription status from Stripe.

Who sees it

You do. Your accountant receives the monthly packet at the address you set. Stripe processes subscription payments. If ActiveCampaign is configured, we add your email, first name, and business to the MonthEnd Signups list. We do not sell receipt contents.

How files are kept

Files are in a private bucket. They are not published on the web. Downloads from the app require your session. The link in an accountant email is signed and expires after 30 days.

How long

Receipts stay until you delete them or you ask us to delete the account. Magic links expire after 30 minutes. Sessions expire after 30 days.
