Terms of use

These are reasonable generic SaaS terms for this product, written in plain language. They are not legal advice and they are not a lawyer’s review of your situation.

MonthEnd is a filing service. It is not an accounting firm, and it does not prepare tax returns or tell you what is deductible. You are responsible for what you forward and for what your accountant does with the packet.

The service

We give you a forwarding address, store receipts sent to it, and email a monthly summary to the accountant address you provide, plus a copy to you, while your trial or subscription allows sending. We may refuse mail over 10 MB or over the rate limit.

Your account

You must give a real email you control. Keep the forwarding address as private as a mailbox. Don’t use MonthEnd to send unlawful content or to store someone else’s mail without the right to do so.

Plans and payment

The trial lasts 14 days and does not need a card. After that, sending pauses until a Starter or Pro subscription is active. Fees are billed by Stripe. You can cancel in the billing portal; access continues through the period you already paid, then sending stops. Receipts already stored stay available.

Acceptable reliability

We work to file mail and send the monthly packet, and we don’t promise that every vendor’s email will parse perfectly or that a filter you set in Gmail will behave a certain way. Check a month before you rely on it for a filing deadline. Amounts are extracted with simple rules and can be wrong until you edit them.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, MonthEnd’s liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, missed filings, or what an email provider does with your filters.

Ending

You can stop using MonthEnd at any time. We can suspend an account that abuses the mailbox or doesn’t pay. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict rules, unless a non-waivable consumer law in your area says otherwise.
